Mission Statement

The Missions Department exists to equip and send the people of Glad Tidings Petaling Jaya to bring closure to the Great Commission among unreached people groups (UPGs) in Asia by teaching, preaching, discipling (Matthew 28:19,20) and doing good works (Acts 9:26).

Scope of Missions
Missions shall encompass the following activities locally and overseas:

  • To evangelizing the lost for Christ
  • To demonstrate Christ’s love through community services
  • To encourage members to go on missions trips
  • To train and develop pastors, missionaries and lay persons for the missions field
  • To pioneer Christian works with the aim of planting churches and aiding their growth
  • To support Christian organizations / individuals in the propagation of faith
