Home for Underprivileged Children

Juara stands for victory – victory in every endeavor through Jesus’ love

Established as a non-profit home in January 1998, the centre gradually expanded. On 7th June 1999, Juara 2 was set up to meet the growing needs of the children ranging in age from 3 – 16 years old. Both centres provide shelter to orphaned, abandoned and abused children from destitute and broken family environment. The home is registered with Majlis Perbandaran Petaling Jaya and Majlis Kebajikan & Pembangunan Masyarakat Negeri Selangor.

 

Vision
Provide basic needs of food, clothing, shelter and education.
Promote academic development to enable the children to fulfil their future aspirations.
Provide a conducive home environment that will mould and enhance self-esteem and image.
Raise up children with moral and godly values and a sense of responsibility towards God and man.
Provide counselling to parents with problems of alcoholism, drugs, illness and imprisonment.

 

Programme
Regular school attendance
Family devotion with biblical emphasis.
Performance of simple house chores to inculcate a sense of responsibility in looking after themselves and the home.
Church attendance, annual retreats, recreation and occasional outings to ensure balanced growth and development.
