LIFEZONE

Drug Rehabilitation Centre

Lifezone was envisioned to transfer and transform those who lived in the twilight zone of drugs and self-destruction into the life zone of new beginnings and hope.
Established on 15 March 1996, it seeks to give all who go there a life that is truly life – a life that is worthwhile and meaningful. The centre soon expanded and
on 1 April 1999, a halfway house, Lifezone 2, was set up.

Vision
To provide a caring and disciplined atmosphere for drug dependents to experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
To nourish, nurture and equip residents with the Word of God and through structured programs and living skills.
To seek employment opportunities for transformed residents to re-enter society.
To promote the spread of the gospel
To evangelise and maintain a relevant Christian witness in society.

Phase 1:
Commitment and Discipleship (9 months) 

  • Spiritual renewal
  • Moral lifestylePhase 2:
    Discipleship and Stewardship (9 months)
  • Instil work discipline
  • Inculcate a sense of responsibilityObservation Period
  • Re-entry into societyActivities:
    Bible study, personal & group devotions, prayer meetings, cell and church attendance, counselling and recreation

    Work projects:
    painting, welding, house repair, masonry, air-condition servicing, gardening & general odd jobs. These enable them to
    discover their abilities, develop potential skills and regain their self-worth and dignity.
