Introduction
This passage of the Word of God underscores for us 3 important aspects what leadership is not. Leadership is not power or position. Leadership is not a bed of roses. Leadership is not the exercise of control over others.
Jesus’ explanation of what leadership is has only one pivotal emphasis. The mark of a leader is defined by the way he serves. Jesus equates a great leader by the way he conducts his serve. Read Full Entry

I. THIS IS MY STORY ( Acts 9, 22, 26; Phil. 3; 1 Tim. 1)
The year was 57 A. D. Paul was taken from Jerusalem to Caesarea because of an alleged violation against the temple. A riot followed (21:30-31). The captain of the Roman guard broke up the riot, and bound Paul with chains (21: 34). Paul asked the captain for an opportunity to speak up (21: 39-40).
