Celebrate … Friends! Photo Competition

Snap a beautiful or creative picture of yourself and your friend and qualify for an attractive prize. The first 300 to submit their entries will be rewarded with a special gift. This competition is held in conjunction with the ongoing Churchwide E1B1 project. Get more information from the Information Desk!

Terms & Conditons

PARTICIPATION

  1. This contest is open to all GTPJ members starting August 21.
  2. Photographs must be taken with a friend the member intends to reach out to.
  3. Photo composition must include the participant and friend – representing their own friendship – capturing the very essence of what friends and friendship mean.
  4. Each participant can submit up to 5 photographs, and each photograph entry must be accompanied with a completed slogan, in not more than 20 words, beginning with, “I treasure this Friendship because…”
  5. All entries must be submitted before September 20, 2010, 5pm
  6. Late, illegible and incomplete entries will not be accepted and no responsibility will be accepted for lost entries.
  7. Entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, how well it conveys the theme and its slogan.
  8. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence thereafter will be entertained.
  9. Results will be announced during the Weekend Services of October 2nd (5pm) & October 3rd (8.30am + 11am), 2010.
  10. Winners (Entrants together with their friend) must be present during the Weekend Services on Saturday (October 2nd, 5pm) + Sunday (October 3rd, 8.30am + 11am) 2010 to be entitled to their prizes. No show of winners would mean the winners agree to the forfeiture of prizes.

Attractive prizes will be given to the top 3 placing in each category. The first 300 entries will be rewarded with a consolation gift each.

SUBMISSION OPTION

Hard Copy

  • Each member is entitled to submit up to FIVE 4R-sized photographs.
  • No digital manipulation or enhancement is allowed.
  • Please fill in the form provided at the Information Desk and attach the photograph onto it before submitting it in the dedicated box at the Desk.
  • By submission of the photograph, the entrant grants GTPJ the right to use his/her photograph in either publicity, advertisement or any other form GTPJ deems fit.

Online

  • Each member is entitled to submit up to FIVE 300dpi photographs.
  • No digital manipulation or enhancement is allowed.
  • Please go to www.gtpj.com, look for the Celebrate Friends! Photo Competition tab and click. Follow the instructions and you are on your way to stand an opportunity to win attractive prizes.
  • By submission of the photograph, the entrant grants GTPJ the right to use his/her photograph in either publicity, advertisement or any other form GTPJ deems fit.
