I. SALVATION: The Spirit at Work in the World Today
The Holy Spirit CONVICTS and REDEEMS the Lost (John 16:8-11)
THINGS ONLY GOD CAN DO. Only God can…..
The Holy Spirit wants to Redeem you: DO NOT RESIST HIM (Acts 7:51)

II. TRANSFORM-ATION: The Spirit at Work in Believers
The Indwelling Holy Spirit COUNSELS and Inwardly TRANSFORMS us
(John 16:12-15)
BEING TRANSFORMED BY THE SPIRIT – “transformed … from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Cor. 3:18; Rom. 12:2)
Transformation: Metamorphosis
The Holy Spirit wants to Transform you: DO NOT GRIEVE HIM (Eph. 4:30)

III. EMPOWERMENT: The Spirit at Work through Believers
The Holy Spirit CONTROLS and Spiritually EMPOWERS us (Acts 1:8)
“Pray for Pentecostal power, but don’t try to manufacture it.”
The Holy Spirit wants to EMPOWER you: DO NOT QUENCH HIM (1 Thess. 5:19)
The Holy Spirit glorifies JESUS

SALVATION
TRANSFORMATION
EMPOWERMENT
