STORMS, SNAKES AND SICKNESS
(Acts 27:23-26; 28:1-10)

Three attacks on your life …

I. STORMS OF LIFE (Acts 27)

Principle to remember when things go wrong…

1. The will of God.

2. God uses storms.

3. God is still with us

II. SNAKES AND SHAKES

1. STIR IT. “They kindle a fire…….”

2. SHAKE IT. “But he shook off the creature into the fire” (:5).

Revival starts when we stir up the fire and shake off the devil.

III. SICKNESS (:7-8)

1. FAITH AND PRAYER.
“Paul went in to him and prayed” (:8). Faith is not presumptuous.

2. DIVINE HEALING AND MEDICINE.
Publius’ father was healed, the people were cured. Faith and medicine are not at odds with each other.

3. GOD IS THE ONLY HEALER
