COMMAND
LOVE ONE ANOTHER
(John 13:34-35; 15:12-17)

A Message by Rev Dr Vincent Leoh on 16 November 2008

“Love” is so overused that it is almost ambiguous. We apply “love’ to all kinds of circumstances or situations in life – whatever, whoever, whenever, wherever, and however we please. But the biblical command to love is different.

I. LOVE IS A DECISION!

1. It’s a Command! (John 15:12, 17)

2. It’s New! (John 15:12)

3. It’s Agape!

II. LOVE IS ACTION

“AS I have loved you” (John 15:12)

1. Loving – the Way that He Loves.

2. Loving – Act as if …

3. Love – the Brand and Mark of Discipleship

4. Loving – Action speak louder than words
