Interpersonal Communication

The goal of this course is to help students become better communicators. This class seeks to introduce students to a wide array of perspectives on interpersonal communication and encourage students to enlarge their understandings on the theory and practice of interpersonal communication.

Bio-data

Dr.Yap graduated from Fu-Jen University’s Mass Communications Department and subsequently completed her Masters in Speech Communication and Doctoral studies in Communication & Education in the USA.

In 1997, Dr. Yap planted the “Little Rock Chinese Church”. In 1999, served in the Far East Broadcasting Company, and was part of “Life without Boundaries” program that was broadcasted to millions in China. In 2001, she studied at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, IL.

Currently she serves as an Assistant Professor at UTAR, a Director of Campus Town, a visiting faculty for BCM and Tung Ling Seminary. In 2007, she received the “Outstanding Young Malaysian” Award from the Malaysian government.
